Solution: Microsoft Word always stays on top of all other windows (which I didn't want)

At work I use a Windows PC. For some reason Microsoft Word windows were always staying on top of every other window. This was tolerable for a little bit, but very quickly became a real problem. I wasn't able to use a different application and view a Word document at the same time and the only way I could switch to another window was by minimizing the Word window. I finally figured out (serendipitously) how to get things to behave properly...
Bypass draconian firewalls

XWin: client # rejected from IP <<address>>
Submitted by Matt Fleming on Thu, 2006-03-02 14:17.I wanted to run a GUI application (AIX) on a local cygwin XServer (Windows) but always got a XWin: client # rejected from IP address error message appearing in the log file (%cygwin_root%\tmp\XWin.log). I looked over the FAQ and user guides on cygwin's site but to no avail. Even googling wasn't really much help. Thankfully I stumbled upon the answer in a tangential link of interest about CoLinux.
