Thinkpad control tools

Motivation
This one isn't really driven by the end-user. I want to install these because they look kind of cool and will give me access to some of the hardware internals. The laptop was given to me with a completely formatted disk (no dos partition), so I didn't have access to the PS2 utility that ships with these units.
