Hi, I found this blog the day before my sugery and I found it's kind of helpful to read other people's experience. I decided to give back by sharing mine.
The surgery was done about 6 P.M. so I went to sleep after a brief dinner. Since I watched the whole process on YOUTUBE, I knew exactly what happens, so I am kindda prepared. But I would not watch the clip if I do it over again, because it's very discouraging and scary, I almost gave it up.
Recovery Day 1, completely no uncomfort. I walked arond in the apartment normally.
RD2, I cannot keep my eyes open. Extremly sensitive to the light. I did nothing but listening to procast on my IPod.
RD3, Still sensitive to light. Better than RD2. My eyes were able to open but became teary if they were open for a long time.I wore sunglasses and went out for a brunch. People might have thought I was weird wearing a big dark sunglasses in the restaurant.
RD4, I got a lot better, but kind of gritty and had slight haze in my right eye. I decided to stay at home.
RD5, I went to work.
Then I work every day in front of a computer. I found my eyes are much easier to get tired. Otherwise, everything is perfect.
Comparing to the results, everything worthes.
