Today I decided to open up user registration on mattfleming.com. Registered users can now:
- have a limited profile page,
- create forum topics,
- be notified when new content and/or comments happen (in user--> my notify settings tab),
- post comments without me having to approve them.
In addition, Drupal has distributed logins, so if you have an account at some other Drupal site you can login with username@otherdrupalsite.com without having to register! Hopefully I have permissions configured properly
